2019 Hidden City House & Garden Tour

Thursday, June 20 | 5:00-8:00 pm

Presented by Center Square Association, Historic Albany Foundation and Hudson/Park Neighborhood Association

Washington Park will be featured on the Hidden City House & Garden Tour this year!

Every year, this tour brings the neighborhoods to life as homeowners open their doors and gardens to the public. Guests are able to tour, at their leisure, the beautiful and historic homes and hidden gardens that make up the Center Square, Hudson/Park and Washington Park neighborhoods. Residents open their homes and gardens for one night only.

Neighborhood restaurants, offering a great range of cuisines, along with charming shops, are part of the fun spirit that makes for a full evening in this unique locale. They will offer specials and discounts to tour participants upon presentation of their ticket.

A full listing and map is contained within the evening’s program/ticket. Tickets are non-refundable. Tour happens rain or shine.

September Splendor

Saturday, September 14, 2019

Held in the Lake House, September Splendor is the Conservancy’s signature fundraising activity and celebrates the beauty of our historic park at a lovely time of year. An end-of-summer tradition in Washington Park, September Splendor is the only event that raises funds to preserve and improve this historic park.

Lantern Parade

Sunday, November 3, 2019

A new tradition in Washington Park, the Lantern Parade is a celebration of community and creativity that lights up the night as the days shorten towards winter.  In 2018, nearly 1,000 people participated in the third annual Lantern Parade on November 4! The Lantern Parade is the culminating event after months of lantern-making workshops at locations throughout the city of Albany.
