The historic illustrations shown in this report came from several collections. The authors would like to thank Robert Drew for the use of his historic postcards. The Washington Park Conservancy provided several views including some from postcards from member collections and others from the Gerber photographic collection. A few images had been used in the comprehensive plan project and were obtained at that time from other collections in Albany but were not fully credited on LANDSCAPES file copies. Thanks are extended to both individuals and organization for the use of these images to document the vegetation history of Washington Park.

The Washington Park Conservancy led this project effort. The original grant proposal was developed by Andrea Lazarski. The project committee was headed by Paul Bray and included
